The Lake District
Get lost in nature If you’re looking for tranquility and breathtaking views, head north to the Lake District National Park. In November, the lakes’ reflection of copper-colored trees creates picture-perfect scenery. Take your Europcar along Kirkstone Pass or Derwentwater, make stops in charming villages like Ambleside, and relax with a hot cup of tea by the fire. Â
Oxford and The Cotswolds
Proceed westward to Oxford, a city rich in academic illustriousness and history. Feel as though you’ve entered a scene from Harry Potter as you stroll along cobblestone streets and visit the Bodleian Library.
From there, it’s a quick drive to the Cotswolds, which are home to golden-stone villages, quaint inns, and undulating hills. You can easily and at your own pace explore quaint towns like Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Chipping Campden with your Europcar.  Having your own vehicle from Europcar helps stop for spontaneous photo breaks and explore villages off the beaten path.
A historical tour of Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands
Without Scotland, no trip to the UK is complete. Edinburgh, where history meets stunning scenery, can be reached by car or airplane. Take in the expansive views from Arthur’s Seat, tour Edinburgh Castle, and savor regional cuisine.
You can continue traveling at your own pace through the Scottish Highlands with Europcar UK, stopping at Loch Ness, Glencoe, and Inverness.
Cornwall
Travel to Cornwall in southwest England for a cool sea breeze. Its craggy cliffs, untamed beaches, and quaint seaside towns are enchanting even in November. See Tintagel Castle, the fabled birthplace of King Arthur, Padstow, and St Ives. You can travel along the breathtaking Atlantic Highway, discover secret coves, and take your time exploring the area with a Europcar.
